King and Bareilles (who did attend the opening night of Beautiful) will perform together at the 2014 ceremony at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, which will air live on CBS January 26. The legendary singer-songwriter isn’t nominated this year, but she already has a Grammy (or five) hanging around the house. She’s garnered four Grammys over her five-decade career and was honored with the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2004. Her album Tapestry and her songs “You’ve Got a Friend” and “It’s Too Late” have all been inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
